AN APPEAL TO PARENTS
The parents & the school have a
joint responsibility in the upbringing of a child. Without the help of one,
the other cannot do better. The school appeals to the parents for total
co-operation. We request the parents to attend all the functions arranged
by the school. This will help in boosting the morale & confidence of
the children.
For the pleasure we get in seeing the child grow up to be a responsible,
disciplined & healthy individual, we request you to note the following:
1. The school does not make itself responsible
for books, money, cloths and other articles that are lost in the school
premises. It is not advisable to send money or valuable articles to the
school. Students should be responsible for their possessions and are not
allowed to wear any valuable ornaments.
2. Pupils should realize that they are responsible to the school authorities
for not only their conduct in the school but also for their general behaviour
outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct outside the school
on the part of the pupils would result in disciplinary action against them.
3. Criticism of pupils, teachers or the school by the parents in the child's
presence should be strictly avoided as it causes the pupils to lose respect
for their teachers resulting in failure to learn from the letter. In case
of a legitimate complaint, the parents are requested to see the Principal
on appointment.
4. The student at home should be encouraged and taught to keep his / her
table and room tidy, make his / her own bed, polish his / her shoes, carry
his / her bag etc. The introduction of such habits early in life inculcates
the personal virtues necessary for a successful career in life.
5. Should there be any infectious disease at home, please report the fact
to the school office at once and do not send your ward to class till the
danger of infection disappears. The parents are required to see that the
child has a nutritious breakfast.
6. Encourage your children to take active part in school activities such
as cultural functions, meetings, picnics and excursion organized by the
school, which are a part and parcel of regular education.
7. Parents are requested to accommodate their children with water bottles
and napkins along with their lunch. To inculcate clean habits among children,
you may kindly advise them to eat without spilling any food particles around.
8. Parents are free to meet their child's teachers on any Saturday between
12.00 noon and 12.30 pm.
9. School authorities do not approve of any indiscriminate & unsupervised
T.V., Video or movie watching by students at home. Video viewing services
are available at the school where students watch educational videotapes
that substantiate their general knowledge.
