Helpage India
Representative from Helpage India briefed up their independent voluntary organisation to the children. The children immedietly responded to the cause and extended their help by funding. On 4th September 2008, 38 students with two teachers visited "Help Age India" to learn about the functioning of the organization.

On 11th of Dec. during the assembly Help-Age India Co-ordinator Ms Rekha addressed the students & announced the consolidated contribution made by the students and congratulated those who have put in efforts to collect the maximum amount.

CMCA Organisation - Eco Friendly Bags
Bringing awareness in the children regarding the environment Eco Friendly - CMCA Organisation are providing reusable jute bags which can replace hundreds of plastic bags with which we discard and pollute the environment which cost Rs. 15/- only.

FistFull of Rice
Programme by Rotary Club and Bangalore Children's Hospital. The organisation wishes to bring in awareness among cildren about the poor and needy to whom a fistfull of rice means a meal per day. To install this value and empathise with the needy people each student is expected to collect a fistful of rice in a bag for 30 days and produce the same to the organisers on the 31st day. Come let's bring smiles and work for a social cause.
On 29thNovember'08 representatives of 'Rotary Club& Bangalore Children's Hospital addressed the students of SVM in the school Auditorium. They briefed up the need for the noble cause of collecting 'A fistful of Rice' for 30 days. Children realized the importance and developed a feeling of contentment in helping the needy within their reach.

Ms. Usha Ravi, a volunteer from NAB(National Association for the Blind) briefed about the activities of NAB organization. The students were given donation cards and asked to collect money for NAB.
