Special Features
This Council is constituted as follows to formulate disciplinary rules and regulations with a view to inculcate discretionary powers and better opportunities for the children to solve their disciplinary problems themselves. Prinicpal is the Chairperson. Other members or deputies will be chosen by her to serve the cause of discipline.
Students Counselling Services: A specially qualified student counsellor is appointed to help the students to enhance study skills, comunication and interpersonal skills. This service also helps students to handle any problem they face namely academic, beavioural or emotional in nature. Parental and teacher counselling is also done as and when required.
Special Classes & Merit Cards:Special classes for
the students, whose academic performance needs to be improved, are conducted
in the school. Simplified worksheets are used to increase their comprehension.
Parents of these students should supervise the consistent attendance f their
child to these special classes.
The school has realised that merit unrecognised is merit curbed. Hence the
public recognition of merit forms an internal periodic feature of the academic
activities of the school.
School Annual: The school annual is printed describing various activities of the school in order to motivate the students to participate and express their thoughts freely. The school annual is titled "Gnana Vani".
Workshop for Teachers: The school takes into account the physical, mental, moral, cultural and aesthetic, spiritual & asychological needs of the children. To cater to these needs of the children & faculty is sent to various workshops organised by Intel, Wipro, Oxford Publication, Bouyances, NIIT, Rotract, Cambridge University Press, British Library, DSERT and Department of Public Instruction etc.
Excursion and Tours: Excursion and tours are arranged every year to places of interest. This gives each child an opportunity to develop group spirit, acceptability and a sense of independence.
School Bus Service: Keeping in view the heavy vehicular traffic on roads, overcrowded auto rickshaws and vans carrying school going children, school management has taken the herculean task of providing a fleet of buses for its students so that every child can be assured of proper transportion with the required comforts and ensure regularity and punctuality in coming to school.
