Investiture Ceremony 2010-11

The investiture for the new student’s council took place in the school auditorium on 14th June 2010. The day’s chief guest was the school Principal Ms. Hemaa Narayan. The ceremony was brought to order with the guard of honour followed by general salute by the band group.
The day’s proceedings was compered by Ms.Manasvi Kannan (XD) and Sanjana (X D) Prathyusha Ayyagari (X D) welcomed the gathering and spoke about the significance of the investiture ceremony .Ms.Asha Paul the Junior PE instructor announced the names of the newly elected cabinet members wherein the Chief guest handed over the badges and flags to the respective house leaders.
The school captain Aashish V R XD administered the oath office to the newly elected school cabinet.
The leaders spoke about the aspirations and plans for the well being of the school throughout the academic year, in their respective fields.
The chief guest congratulated the cabinet members and appreciated their confidence whole heartedly with regard to their speeches. She advised them to keep up to the expectations of the superiors and their fellow students.
In her address she expressed her deep concern about the health of the students in all respects regarding the air borne, water borne and viral infections that are likely to prevail with the onset of the monsoon.She also reminded all  about the Road Safety
For the same purpose she instructed the leaders to visit the classes from grade I to X to convey the m the precautionary measures that has to be taken care to keep themselves safe from all kinds of health ailments and Safety Measures, to avoid accidents on road .
She proposed in introducing E-news letter and news magazines for the school. She asked  to add a theme based songs related to nature, festivals  and colours for the month. This has  to be following after the daily prayer sessions.
She asked the school captains to update the bulletin and the notice boards with articles related to global national and school activities. She signed off  wishing all good luck for the year ahead.
The ceremony came to an end with the Junior captain of the State Board, Navya Belpu’s vote of thanks followed by the rhythmic music for National Anthem by the band group.
